Homecoming dance after game not the formal... I went up to a female that I thought was a friend to apologize for something and she started screaming for her brother....


I just walked away, I was stopped by her brother yelling across the dance floor that he was going to kick my ass if I ever came near his sister again...

That's your most embarassing?

I was in the Philippines at a divisional party. Guests at the party included:
The ship's doctor
The ship's chaplain
The ship's XO
All the administrative guys (I worked in Personnel)

So the ranks included 2 commanders (XO & chaplain), two lieutenants (my dept. head and the doctor) and a warrant officer (my div-o). There were also several chief petty officers in attendance...

Well, as usual, I was blitzed. I don't know how many pitchers I'd consumed, but the memories that burned into my brain that night went beyond alcohol.

We were at a strip club. The dancer was completely nude. The dancer asked for a volunteer. All my buddies kept telling me to go up. I did. Well, we were dancing together (I can't dance when I'm sober, let alone drunk). All my buddies were shouting and whistling as I pawed her. Then she put me on the floor and proceeded to pull my pants down.

I remember my div-o came running over to save what little was left of my pride. He helped me up and I ran away into the night. I got even drunker and didn't show my face on the ship until Monday when I had to report for duty.

There have been a lot of embarassing moments. Ya know, that's the first time I've ever told that story. Man. It sounds bad.

But, that was in a previous life. The man that did that was crucified on January 30, 2002, and lives no more. Thank God for that!
