Title: In For A Penny, In For A Pound, I Guess.

Go ahead, I'm a partially open book.
squatpuke - January 7, 2006 08:47 PM (GMT)
What will it take to be "fully" open...
p.s. I've got semi-nude photos of Clayman.....will that do it?
andiesmama - January 7, 2006 08:52 PM (GMT)
^^ ignore the man behind the curtain
Here's my question(s)....where do you live? Do you enjoy it? You have a son, right? How old is he? Do you have a favorite scripture, or maybe one that's really speaking to you at this moment? What is it and why?
Do you think I could bombard you with any more questions? :D

I live in a far west suburb of Chicago. It's okay. The cost of living is pretty high out here.
My son will be three this month.
My favorite verses are Titus 2:11-13
11For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. 12It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,
For me it is an encapsulation of how and why to live as a Christian.

clayman - January 9, 2006 12:47 PM (GMT)
I used to live in a far-west suburb of Chicago, too. It's called "Princeton". Ever heard of it?
Nah - it's about 100 miles west of Chicago (far enough? :D ).
Snow shovel or blower?
Inkjet or laser?
SUV or subcompact?
Classic Pooh or new Pooh?
amyroo - January 9, 2006 02:06 PM (GMT)
Snow shovel or blower? husband
Inkjet or laser? laser, I think
SUV or subcompact? sedan, we can't afford and SUV or minivan, yet, but as soon as my husband's truck dies, we'll get something bigger and then he'll have to drive the Malibu.
Classic Pooh or new Pooh? Definately Classic Pooh, I consider the new Pooh to be a perversion.

Bwahhahahahahaaaa! Yeah, who ever heard of a bear wearing clothing anyway! And if he did, wouldn't he have more style?
Okay, tell us about one book or movie (besides the Bible) that changed your life somehow and why.
amyroo - January 10, 2006 05:41 PM (GMT)
Wide my World, Narrow my Bed by Lucy Swindoll. I wish I had read earlier in my single life, because I would have spent more time living and less time waiting. Anyway I would recommend it to anyone single or married. It really opened my mind to living life to the fullest and what freedom in Christ really means.

How's the lil Philip bro doing?
amyroo - August 10, 2007 08:30 PM (GMT)
Oooh! I missed some questions!
Honey, I don't remember last Thanksgiving.
Raspy, Thanks for asking about Phillip. He's doing great. He is quite small for his age, just over 17 lbs and 30.5", but that is fairly typical for his syndrome. He is starting to imitate sounds and actions and babbles a lot. He seems to think that we should understand him. He pulls up to standing and does the army crawl all over the house. He can crawl up on all fours for short distances, if he's not thinking about. As soon as he realizes what he's doing, he flops his belly back down on the ground. (He's a bit of a stinker :D ) At his next endocrinology appointment, we are going to start the process to get him on growth hormone. That should help his gross motor development as it will build muscle mass, as well as make him grow a bit more. So far, he has no signs of scoliosis and his eyes are straight, he'll probably need glasses in a year or two for near-sightedness, though. He is the happiest baby I have ever met and super social. He just loves everybody and wants everyone he meets to hold him.
