What was the best thing for you in 2005? What was the worst?

Worst: You don't want to know. I'll just say that it was several months of abusive behavior from my husband that culminated in a week of complete hell that I didn't think I was going to survive.
Best: When my husband agreed to counseling...then I realized that my marriage has a chance after all

Best and worst times were watching my best friend battle cancer.

I'm with Lena. Some of the worst times this year seemed to be big turning points in my life.
Some of those turning points are:
1. Doing some things that could've ended my marriage
2. Losing/gaining friendships
3. Being sexually assaulted
4. Learning hard lessons in the stock market
5. Injuries
6. Losing my health
God has turned each of those situations around and taught me so much.

Best - my son being born.
Worst - everything else!

In my monthly bible study we had to tell everyone the most sigificant event in our lives in 2005. I cannot believe how hard it was! It became so personal for all of us, that it was really hard to express it. I can see from what everyone's posted that it's the same here...
For me, it's been my walk. It's hard to explain. But it's like I always feel like I reach a point where I'm amazed at what God's done with me and then BAM he does something else and I grow again. It's so amazing. It's changed my marriage, my relationship with my children, my family, my friends...
The worst? I can't say. Because it was actually the most sigificant turning point for me. So it's the best and the worst. If that makes any sense.

The best was the birth of my daughter....
The worst was the 2 shots in my nut-sack during the vasectomy.
(Funny, I can't think of anything SUPER bad...the Lord has blessed me tremendously this year...)

Best: God blessing us with our new house, and that in turn helped me tremendously in my walk with Him (working on turning everything over to Him, etc.)
Worst: being out of town when Andie busted her forehead open & had to go to the ER at 9 at night to get stitches... :(

Worst: Most likely one of the World-War type fights that I had with the wife.
Best: Getting a new job just 2 days after getting laid off.
