Do they get worse as we get older? Seriously, in my 20's I very rarely ever got a headache...for any reason. Now that I've turned 30 I've gotten a big headache every month before period starts. :( I only just turned 30 in September, would I notice this right away? Is this even normal? I've had a headache all day today. It only cleared up now that I took a big Ibuprofen pill. Now I'm feeling goooooood! ;)
It doesn't happen to me, but I know it does happen. And why not in your 30s? Right. What do they say? Your body changes every 7 years. If I were you I'd talk to your Gynocologist about it though. Just to see if there's anything you can do. I know for me, I take 2 Aleve just as soon as my AF starts. That does the trick for me, for everything - cramps, aches, etc.
My sister gets terrible migranes right before & during her period...I get regular ones. Anyways, her doctor told her one of the causes is dehydration, so she drinks above & beyond fluids and it really helps. I started doing that, too....drinking almost double water & tea and my headached disappear for the most part.
