Title: What Are The Plans?

GutterRat - December 30, 2005 01:23 PM (GMT)
So, what are the plans for new years? Are ya gonna be able to stay awake past midnight?

LynnMcG - December 30, 2005 01:27 PM (GMT)
The usual - watch a couple of movies, kiss my husband at midnight, and go to sleep. My son doesn't know it's New Year's so he'll still be up sometime between 6 and 7 a.m. New Year's Day.

We are gonna stay up, watch a movie, etc...My husband wants to invite our 4 year old to stay up with us...but I am not sure that will happen. That girl needs her sleep!! I am sure we will be sleeping in tomorrow so I am sure we will be up past midnight. (Waking at 4 AM through the week makes sleeping in on Saturday a must! ) No big plans...

We were going to go to a party, but Chad has to work on Sunday, so we're going to stay home and watch movies.

Pigging out on pizza, renting a few movies....I'll be lucky if I can manage to stay up til midnight!

MMMMMMMMmmm..Pizza..I haven't had a really good pizza since our fast has been over...I think we might have to do that too!

Me and the kids are driving home Saturday. We'll get there about 5:00. Then our celebrations will commence. I don't think Wifey and I will have a problem staying up late. She's been working 4pm to 4am, and I've been staying up till 3am watching cable (we got rabbit ears at home).

Then at midnight we'll wander out and watch our neighbors setting off fireworks.

We typically go to several parties and just party all night long with our kids or without them.

This year, since this year has been so tumultuous & challenging, we are just going to spend a relaxing evening at home. I'd like to ring in the new year peacefully making passionate love to my husband, creating our own fireworks.

No secret naked trips to the airport in a raincoat, eh?

I can't believe I have that vision stuck in my head...thanks mdolls...sheesh.

We've been invited to Louis' gramother's house tomorrow evening. Then we'll come home and I'll probably stay up until midnight.

No big plans here. Have been invited to hang out with some of my co-workers friends, but I don't see us going - hubby is not terribly social. Small talk is difficult for him.

I know what you mean. My husband is so anti-social that he has actually proposed the idea of moving to and raising the kids in a hermitage!!!! You can imagine what I thought of that one! I go nuts being as isolated as I am right now, I couldn't handle it!

My little sister is having a New Year's Eve party up at my parent's place in the basement. So the wife and I will be there, while Rachel sleeps upstairs.

Then we're going to sleep over because my aunt is having a New Year's Day dinner and she lives on the same street as my parents.

Much fun!

Going to SIL to celebrate... apparently my best friend is going to be there, and a couple other friends... found out this afternoon.. kids are going to be at FIL's so I can drink as much as I want.... Getting home is the easy part.... walk out there front door turn left try not to stumble over bushes... walk like 20 feet get keys out open front door of my house fall on couch wait for wife to close door after me...

Nah...

I'll prolly only enjoy a couple frosty libations.. haven't been much in a get trashed mood since...ever.....

LynnMcG - December 31, 2005 05:18 PM (GMT)
Now we've been invited to two parties where we can bring the kids. But the weather's going to be bad so we just might have to stay home.

I went to Blockbuster yesterday and got a bunch of movies. I went shopping this morning and got some good munchies. And my daughter wants to stay up, so it looks like a quiet evening at home after all.

Honey - December 31, 2005 05:26 PM (GMT)
Yeah, we're supposed to get a pile of white crap, too. I'm hoping it'll snow us in so we don't have to go to the gathering tomorrow at the in-laws! :D

Honey - December 31, 2005 08:46 PM (GMT)
Man, I'm getting hungry for that pizza we're having tonight!
