How much weight did you gain during your pregnancies?

I gained 42lbs with Kat.

Around 40 with my first and last and 35 with my second. I cannot figure that out. My first was 5 pounds, 10 ounces. My last was 5 pounds right on and my second was 6 pounds 12 ounces! I gained mostly baby with the second, because I was back into prepregger clothing within THREE weeks! I was so happy! With my last...well, the last few pounds are still there...:sigh:

1st - gained 16 lbs - lost 22 lbs at birth; 6.5 lb baby girl

2nd - gained 40 lbs - lost 10 lbs at birth; 5.5 lb baby girl (still trying to lose the last 22 lbs, then I have another 15-20 lbs on top of that I want to lose -- all bodyfat)

Each pregnancy was very different.

1st - exercised up until the night before; didn't know I was in labor; baby popped out in less than an hr; ideal pregnancy - no pain meds used

2nd - doctors made me stop exercising at beginning of 2nd trimester and put me in bedrest 3rd trimester; high risk pregnancy; was in labor several hrs - no pain meds used

Hmmm, I think about 40 with the first and only about 20 with the second. I lost the weight within the first 6 or 8 weeks of both of them, but my body was never the same. A little shift here, a little more there...
