Title: When Are You...
Honey - December 27, 2005 07:11 PM (GMT)
taking down your Christmas tree? I've thought of taking ours down today already. Takes up too much window space...I need my natural light. B)

Usually I take mine down on January 6th.

Whenever we have a free hour to do it. At this rate - we may just leave it up for next year. :)
andiesmama - December 27, 2005 07:31 PM (GMT)
Probably this Friday, then we can put it out so they'll pick it up & haul it away on Saturday....
Mandy - December 27, 2005 07:58 PM (GMT)
We didn't have one because I refused to have an artificial one and we couldn't get a real one.

We used to be like you - NO FAKE TREES. But then......I got sick of cleaning up the mess - & my dog kept eating the tree.
Fake all the way. :)

I've hauled enuff of em stupid thins... not interested in buyin one ever year. I'm allergic to the thins anyways, plus the mess an what not. I used to, before I got married, go out an cut a mesquit limb off an hang lights an whatnot on it.

We've always left it up for Little Christmas (my mom was raised Russian Orthodox and we always had a little celebration on Jan. 6) but this year, it may come down early. :(

Did ours tonight. Can't take the clutter anymore! Besides, the kids kept banging into it. It's a fake. I do NOT like the real ones. Had that at home and guess who was doing the cleaning up and watering? Moi. Never again.

January 2.
Allergies & Asthma, so we get a fake one.
We've had praise team rehearsal at a home with a real tree. I couldn't sing. Couldn't get enough air to get the voice out.

probably January 6--My husband wanted to wait until the last minute to get a tree and by then all that was left was dead trees so we put up our fake one, much to his chagrin..
