I got this from the kids via mommie....
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0001ILXG...ronics&v=glanceI also got soft-leather bound editons of "My Utmost" and "Every Step for Every Man"...from GMIL
and a $30 dollar gift cert to Fry's electronics from my MIL/FIL....
They also bought wifey and I an indoor/portable evaporative cooler as it
sometimes gets into the upper 80's here in the mountains in the summertime...
I broke the (we won't buy for each other) rules and bought wifey a HUGE crockpot from Sam's Clubs...my oldest picked out a whistilin' tea kettle and my middle picked out a Willow Tree statue for her.
Our Christmas Dinner with her folks could have feed 20 people...and there were only 6 of us....If there is anything I HATE worse than bad politics, it's WASTED food...
The kids made out like bandits...I'm going have to file for my tax-refund earler than April just to pay for it all... : (
I couldn't belive the MOUND of toys they had...wifey went WAY OVER BOARD and the 1st moment I have alone with her...she's gonna get a verbal thrashing....

We are blessed that my parents can be generous at Christmas...plus, the store had 18 months to pay it off with no interest! By putting in the $$ we had already budgeted for originally, we were able to "rationalize" buying it!!

Right? And oven mitts?!
OK, in all fairness...Frying pans were from my mother. Had my DH given them to me he would have gotten a "Lena". The oven mitts, were from a grab bag.
I was just so stoked about the camera and the Palm that I didn't mind the not so fun stuff.

Apparently, hubby and the BIL's were supposed to get money from my dad. He retired earlier this year and has a very healthy pension from his company. So far, we haven't seen the green stuff yet. :dunno:
