At the end of our driveway I found a dead bird with the back of its head chopped off, face still intact, no other puncture wounds anywhere.... a dead mole...couldn't see any puncture wounds or anything, and then another mole's head! Kids wouldn't clean it up, so I chucked it away with a shovel.

What could've mutilized the critters like that? :blink:

You're sure it was done by a human? There could have been other wounds under feathers that you didn't see..Sounds gross though..

I backed out over a mole in our driveway a few weeks ago and the kids enjoyed watching the decay process! Its hot here already so it mostly dried out..
