I saw an Australian snowboarder in the Olympics. Are there places in Australia to ski and snowboard? Or do your winter athletes have to go somewhere, like Japan, to train?

I cain't speak for Hope obviously, but I was sure they had moutains an the like there, don't they? I mean I thought they got pretty frackin cold in our summer/thier winter. Although, I could totally see the benfit in goin someplace to train cause our winter is their summer etc.

I don't know much of the southern seas if you will, cept from crodile dundee an the like, but I did think they got pretty cold down under.

Yes we get snow here in the mountains on the east coast. (I'm on the west coast so no snow here ever!!). So I guess they would probably start here but....

Yes they would also have to train elsewhere to get the amount of training they would need. The snow season here is just not long enough. I'm not sure where they would go to train but they must be going somewhere.

P.S. Lucky I noticed the word Hope in the title cos I never look in the Sports section :)
