Title: Is it...?

Another topic I ripped off from another board :D

Is cyber-sex (online sexual chat/content between two people, via email or chat or what have you) and "sexting" (same deal, only by phone) just as much cheating as actual sex?

Sub-topic: Is it cheating to go to a strip joint? Is just plain lust cheating?

oooooh good topic!!

I would say that "sexting" is cheating. Things like that should only be said, expressed, done within a marriage relationship. Interacting with others in such a way takes the intimacy of sexual contact/acts and shares it with someone outside the marriage. I consider that unfaithful.

Well............. I don't have a clue what "sextin" means... but yeah, if you in a marriage an your screwin round wit *anyone* else.. then yeah it's cheatin...

now......... to me... a strip joint/lust is different but I'm to far gone tonight to tell you the difference LOL

""You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." - Matthew 5:27-28, NIV

Anything of that nature is adultery, according to this text. And it really torques off the spouse of the person involved.

depends on the views of the spouse there are some that have no issue with it there are some that will... if you view porn as cheating then yes this would definitely fall under cheating...

I consider it cheating.
I also consider lustful thoughts cheating.
