Should pro teams (the NFL and the NBA) have cheerleaders?

I guess the reason to have them is so that the fans have some entertainment during the TV timeouts.

YEah...Cheerleaders used to actually lead the fans in cheers and they wore clothing too.. The "cheerleaders" of today are just hoochies out there shaking it and inciting lust..
