Funny story:

When I was in the Navy, we went down the Asian coast starting in Korea (no, I didn't see Mandy there...).

At every port, they told us not to eat anything from the sidewalk vendors. Well, when you're :hammer: ed, that just doesn't matter. So, I ate most of my meals from sidewalk vendors in ChinHae Korea, Hong Kong, Olongapo City Philippines and Phattaya Beach Thailand. No problems. It was good food that filled you up.

We pulled into Singapore about 1800 hours (that's 6:00 to you civilians!). The captain came on and announced that all food vendors in Singapore are watched very closely. Bad food will get a vendor prison time! (it's a $500 fine for not flushing a public toilet!)

Well, the day after we pulled into Singapore, I had duty. Being late anyway, I went ashore for some food. I wound up at McD's (the only American food I ate overseas) to get something quick and head out to town for a little bit. I spent the next three days sick in bed with food poisoning. :puke: :poop: :anything else you care to add:

I don't know if Yeger bombs are a food catagory, but if it is alcohol poison almost took me out. 5 beers 10 Yeger bombs, and a Taquilla in about 3 hours. Not a pretty sight. I was sick for the next 24 hours after that.

I was rushed to the hospital after eating a cereal with sunflower seeds in it.
It made me dellusional,my throat swelled,and I got a rash and itched all over. :unsure:

I'm also allergic to shellfish,bananas,and grapes.

No shellfish? And you live on the Gulf Coast? :cry: Man, life just ain't fair!

Tell me about it.When I was a kid I ate fried shrimp,so I know what I'm missing.
The shellfish allergy just happened one day when I was eating crablegs at home.My throat got all itchy and swollen.(nasty feeling) :nono:

What? You mean like a Atropine Auto-Injector? We learned about those in the Navy. That's the primary reason I never wanted to be exposed to a nerve agent. Never mind the agonizing thrashing death it may cause, I didn't want to get poked by that needle!

Yes invest in a couple... keep some in your car, your wife's car... your neighbors car... just don't tell them you have the keys.....

Carry one in your jacket, your backpack your pants pocket, your desk at work, your bosses desk at work......
