Title: Can't sleep well with him in the bed...
Stringaling - June 23, 2008 02:01 PM (GMT)
I just cannot get much sleep or rather deep sleep when my husand is in the bed with me. I think it is because he crowds me out so much and right now I need more room as it is harder to turn over or even move in bed because of the loosening pelvic bones grinding, etc... because of the pregnancy. I have ound that I sleep much deeper and more restfully when I go back to bed after he goes to work...But that's not gonna be en ough to get by on for the rest of the day.
Any advice or ideas???

dunno I sleep better with Misty in the bed as long as she doesn't get there first and long enough to fall into a deep sleep where she will not give me any of the bed....

wifey and I invested about 5k into a HUGE oak bedroom set with CALIFORNIA KING Simmons Beauty Rest mattress (the one they bounce the bowling ball on.)
Course we did this before kids....but it's been sweet and nice furniture lasts forever....
My only issue is when light or sound wakes me up in the am...I CANNOT get back to sleep after I get 5-6 hours....
Wifey is pretty casual sleeper...no complaints there except that she gets/needs LOTS of sleep...
She typically goes to bed with me and gets 6-8 hours then she'll take a 2-3 hour nappie whenever she fells like it....
pshaw...who said SAHM's had it rough?

:smack: I NEVER take naps, I'm up at 5:15 with Ty, get some work in online before Andie gets up...... :sigh: a woman's work is never done..... B)
We've got a King (pshaw on California kings) and our mattress is a sleep-number bed. LOVE it. I guess it's like Squat's.........can't even tell the other person is there PLUS I can have my side soft & squishy, Ty's side is like a brick wall.

If you were to draw a line down the center of our bed, every night his butt would cross the line. He sleeps on his side with his butt sticking out onto my side crowding me out...And if its not his utt his legs are overstepping the imaginary line down the middle...

I agree with AM. Have him sleep on the couch. When I had my back issues, DH was more than willing to sleep on the couch or with one of the kiddo's...
