Dude there are indoor waterparks....
Keneke - June 5, 2008 03:39 PM (GMT)
I would pay $25.00-$30.00 :)
OS read for a program (had to do recreational reading for 6 hours within 10 days) and earned a free pass to the local theme park - Plus a free parent pass...Woot :yay:
andiesmama - June 5, 2008 03:40 PM (GMT)
Ours is $5.50 for kids, $10 for adults. Not bad IMO. I'm going to see how much a season pass is.........

Forgot to add...
The local High school has a water park. It's not as complex as the main water theme park nearby.
It's $3.00 for everyone.

Ok, thanks for all the decent responses. That doesn't include you, TurdBall. :smack: :cheeky:
My sisters want us to go with them to
Bingeman's Park. I figured the cost to be around TWO HUNDRED BUCKS for us as one family. PLUS they're (my sisters) talking about camping for a "minimal fee" nearby... PLUS we're expected to bring our own food. To top it all off, it's a 2 freakin' hours drive!! Who wants to lug around a cooler all day?
Am I being unreasonable for not wanting to go?
I thought they (Bingeman's) might have a discount or something somewhere, but I've searched that site and it says only a group of 50 people get a discount.
For us, locally a decent waterpark is $20.00 per family for the entire day. Or the beach....FREE.

rasplundjr - June 5, 2008 05:38 PM (GMT)
Those prices for Bingeman's are right in line with the major water parks around here....
I just go to my parents house and swim in the lake... Not even really fond of pools.....

Very interesting question. We just got back from the Tideewater area of Virginia (Jamestown, Yorktown, Williamsburg, Norkfolk, Virginia Beach). On Thursday we went to one of the so-called premier waterparks in the country:
Water Country USA.
We had coupons for $12 off each person (our youngest was free), so we paid $27.95 for each adult and $20.95 for a child.
The girls loved it, the 5-year-old said that it was one of the best days of her life. Definately worth every penny! As long as it is a special occasion and not a twice a month event.
