So I get home from work and find that my 8 y/o daughter and 5 y/o son have captured a wild snake...

and yes...they know I'm ah....fearful of snakes....


anyway....I snapped some photos....care to see?

I'm not SUPER DOOPER scared when I can see them and KNOW where they are...but the thought of finding one in my bed, house, car...unexpected like, sends shivers down my spine...


I did tell Bekah, then in NO WAY, SHAPE OR FORM, was that creature to go into the house....

It ended up escaping from the cardboard box she had it in....it's gone now.

It was a pretty calm little snake, probably about 2 foot....

I still have this image of Squat high footin' it around while the kids are chasing him with this snake.....:haha:

This reminds me of when I was a little kid. My oldest sister found a snake in the yard, got a pail and captured it, made our younger brother sit on it (in case the garter snake got away, yanno) and she got the hoe. We took the pail off and she whacked its head off! :haha:
