I don't like guns... never have. Won't own one.
But I find that I have an attraction towards well crafted swords. There's a store up here called House of Knives. They sell knives of all kinds, and they even sell replicated swords from movies.
If I had the dough, I think I'd get a collection. Although my wife has already voiced an objection to my daydreaming.
I want a Hattori Hanzo sword (the kind Uma Thurman used in Kill Bill)

The problem with swords is, if some one breaks into your home to hurt you wife, If you hack him up w/ a sword, you are going to jail whether he's dead or not. If he's alive, your getting sued
If he's dead, it's going to look like your some kinda cruel whacko and your going to jail
If the police come in and find the dude with a couple bullet holes, well, another burglar gets shot, case closed.

I have a 12 guage shotgun I use for deer hunting. It's locked up. I love guns but wont have them in the house. I was in the Army and got to shoot some awsome stuff. Granade launchers, M-60's, pistols, anti tank stuff, it was sooo cool. My FIL has a great collection and my uncle has an nice collection as well. I usually go to thier house and scratch my itch if I want to shoot.
I'd need stitches for sure if I started collecting swords, I'd cut my thumb off or something.

Lower Michigan, I use a slug. I don't like tracking um. I shoot. They lay down.
Usually they lay down very fast. thump
I don't hunt much any more, no time with school and all.
A couple years ago I hit a deer on a dead run jumping a fence. I shot and the deer didn't go very far. Nice 6 point. good eatin.

I need to post some pics of my swords and knives....
Go figure the guy that duels his family with foam wepons collects knives and swords....
My favorite is my 28 inch broadword from Starfire swords.
They are weapons you can actually use for combat (stage ofcourse) lifetime warranty unless you sharpen it or do something really stupid with it.

Yeah, I got to fire a .50 cal machine gun when I was in the Navy. It was mounted on the ship and still shook the hell outta me.
