We're thinking about getting our daughter a Nintendo DS for her birthday in February. She plays PS2 now. Any thoughts on this system?

The dual screen thing is kind of confusing. I wouldn't get it for her unless she was BEGGING for it. Although, it does have some cool kid-friendly games.

My wife says that she sees a lot of them come back to her store with a broken screen.

She's not begging for it (which is why she's not getting it for Christmas). But it's that dog show game that she's really interested in. And I know Gameboy Advance really came down in price...but then shouldn't I be bying her the newer system?

And then why are there two screens? I haven't actually tried one yet, so I'm not sure why you need them.
