Depends on what he means by "submit" If its "do what I tell you to do woman" then that's not a situation of submission...That's a master/servant relationship...

What is a quarrelsome wife?

Is a quarrelsome wife one who nags her husband constantly?

Is a quarrelsome wife one does not take her husband into consideration when doing stuff?

Is a quarrelsome wife one who when accused of saying/doing something they didn't say/do wants to clear her name?

Is a quarrelsome wife one who disagrees with her husband?

I think defining what a quarrelsome wife actually is helps determine what course of action needs taking.

Is a wife not submitting when she voices disaggrement with her husband?

Is a wife not submitting if she won't take correction for something she didn't say/do?

To the men - what is your vision of a submissive wife? Can you give examples of what is/isn't submission?

Last thing I read was something about Louis handling his meat.......now you guys are arguing again? I can't keep up. :faint: :P

I'm not arguin... don't look at me.. I completely an freely surrendered earlier today... there's someone else who isn't bout to stop beatin me over the head over an over agin wit the same points that don't work. I gave up, I am cooked an done.

I shouldn't have bothered to ask the question I did in this thread cause I ended up jes hangin up the phone on Sarah, she likes to pull thins out of thin air an I figured it'd be bes.. seeins how I didn't git my frackin french fries....

I am genuinly curious though, I tried a biblical approach to sumthin earlier today an NO, it wasn't anythin at all to do wit submission, that came later, instead she seemed to think a "public floggin" would be better :screwy: I know but what of it?

I was goin to post more bout this when I stopped tonight, brecause... the shear silliness of thins is jes that.. silly.

I'll havta finally roll over an be the lil puppy dog she's always wanted me to be.......

Okay, then, I'll ask. What specifically do you mean by the term "quarrelsome wife" ? I think the specific meaning of that and also your intended meaning of sumission will help to clarify what your OP is asking...

Clarification...That's what we need. My husband tends to be the king of vague so I have to push for clarification often around here...

Am I THAT dumb? If I shot down my wifes questions bout it, what makes you think I'm more likely to answer yours?

Take the frackin quarrelsome out of it an the same question frackin remains... what do MEN HUSBANDS... do wit unsubmissive wives..... I thought it was a pretty simple question, thanks Sarah.....

The quarrelsome hasn't anythin to do wit it really, there are tons of ways a wife er even a husband for that matter are unsubmissive to thier spouse, so fine.. since this seems to be SUCH a difficult question, what is an appropriate response for a husband who isn't submissive!?

Because you said SHE was hijacking the thread by asking a question that others of us were wondering too. Am I hijacking by wondering that too?

You haven't been very clear so I can't imagine you'll get much of an answer. Seems the men around here either don't know specifically what you mean or are too baffled to ansewer.

Perhaps you should provide multiple choice options. Squat, I know, would fare better with that.. :P
