Can you use it too much?
Had a water pipe blow out yesterday so have had to turn the water off to the house so instead of washing hands I've been using hand sanitizer. It's 63% ethyl alcohol - I'm not gonna absorb the alcohol through my skin am I and get "drunk" by using it too much, right? It doesn't say anything about limiting use on the bottle.

But toddlers are known to get alcohol poisoning from liking it off their hands or ingesting it straight from the bottle.

So if I use the hand sanitizer then handle food I could give everyone alcohol poisoning?

You're fine. The kiddo's are licking their hands while still wet :blink: or 'drinking' it from the bottle. You should be fine. If anything your kiddo's should be sleeping better :D

Ok. I was more worried about harming the baby inadvertantly than the kids :lol: It wasn't till I started using the hand sanitizer that a realised how often I wash my hands during the day!

Majority of the alcohol evaporates (leaves a fress cooling sensation)
Wrong kind of alcohol to get drunk off of......
If you're soaking in a tub of the stuff for hours at a time maybe but washing hands with it a few times an hour isnt' gonna hurt
otherwise I dont' think they'd sell it inteh baby aisle....
