Title: Ear Infection City, here I come

sf49erfan - April 21, 2008 01:56 PM (GMT)
I have a spring cold and it is terrible. It started out as just allergies to all of the pollen in the air. But then, I didn't get up to blow my nose every hour in the middle of the night, so I'd wake up in the morning completely stuffed up. Now I can feel extra pressure in my ear canals. This has been getting worse each day for the past 5 days or so.

I've had about 100 ear infections in my life. I'm not exaggerating, I had tubes inserted as a child to help drain the ear canals.

Keep your nose clear and chew some gum to keep the ears open. If it's infected or painful, definitely get it checked.

Just getting over a cold myself. It does get better!

Yep, and take some antihistamines, something to help keep your sinuses clear, maybe you'll get lucky and dodge the bullet this time!
