Title: Portable Inflatable Crash Pad

Anybody know where I could easily get one?

With Isaiah being the monkey that he is with his climbing trees....I get paranoid that he's gonna fall, land and hurt himself real bad. Now that the snow is all gone.....there's no cushy spots for him to land on.

A nice big one surrounding the big trampoline would be nice, too. Kids are freaking me out constantly!

Noooo. Those things don't look real safe and from what I've heard from friends are pretty much worthless. Anything like that, Isaiah finds a fascination with and will either cut or rip it apart anyway. You should see what our (steel) screen windows go through all summer. Even with all scissors "hidden".

Disc. That's the best thin to do. Git yasef a disc an chew up all the ground he's likely to be playin on. We never had nuthin fancy to land on but the ground, dislocated some shoulders an a few cuts etc but all in all it wasn't so bad.. jes.. don't ask my mom :P

I've actually never heard of a portable inflatible emergency pad thingy that you could git ahold of an mess wit.. I can jes picture it though, you runnin out there throwin this thin out to inflate an woosh.. there goes Lena... naw, I think you oughta disc the ground up :)

I don't know if they make them either....maybe I just watch too many movies. :D

I cracked my sister's ribs once when we had a trampoline when we were kids. The springs and bars were padded and everything. I bounced her a bit toooo high, she flew up and WHAM! Landed right on the bars and cracked a few ribs. :faint: As often as I have been on a trampoline, I have never been hurt on one. Last year poor Luke landed on the springs right between his legs. Awwww....he held himself a bit and then went back to jumping. I saw it happen and felt the pain FOR him. Youch!

Discing the ground does sound kinda neat. I highly doubt hubby would do it. The trampoline is in our fenced in area and he likes to keep it as neat as possible.

I'm sure you could prolly custom order something from a bounce house manufacturer... but it'll cost

Cheap route... Inflatable rafts turned upside down packed with a couple old blankets or some old clothes wrapped in a tarp (so to not pop the raft)?

How about those pads that gymnasiums use? Like the thing the pole vaulters land in.
