Just noticed last night that my belly button's red. It doesn't hurt or anything, but I noticed some oozing as well but it hasn't oozed at all today. Has anyone had this problem before? What is it? :blink: :dunno:

And no, I don't pick on my belly button. Was always told that's a no-no. :P

Eww! LOL Do you have a deep belly button? Sometimes you can get festers in them if they're deep. It's not something I've dealt with though. I think I would peroxide your belly button just to clean out any bad stuff.

Actually, yeah...it is kinda deep. I've never had this problem before, either. I swabbed it out with tea tree oil. Seems to help with the redness.

I've never heard of such a thing :dunno: I googled it :) Bacterial infection (since they like dark places) which *might* require antibiotics if oozing. :dunno: Especially if the oozing is smelly :faint:

I know this is 'womens thread' an I normally stay out cause of all the ckaklin hens that git their panites in a twist however...

I have a deep belly button an everone in a while I'll git a pimple er sumthin down in there, it doesn't hurt er anythin an it gits red an will leak etc not much, but when I see that I start diggin round til I find it, scratch it out, peroxide it (that stings) then a day er two later it's all over wit.

A pimple? Ouch. Never had one of those in there yet.

I lost my belly button with my first pregnancy. My skin stretched so much and got so many stretch marks that I don't have any tone to my skin anymore, and no real looking belly button anymore either. TMI i guess... Sorry.. Just really wanted to say that I havent' a clue about your problem...

You can get your tone back after you pop out your baby. :) Exercise, eat clean, use weights....you'll see your belly button again!

Muscle tone, but not skin tone. My skin doesn't fit. Once the elastin in your skin breaks (which causes stretch marks) it never returns again. Stretch marks don't go away and the skin that is riddled with stretch marks doesn't return to its former shape. Hey, lena, when I get my camera batteries charged, I'll email you a pic. Seriously, I will. Might scare the color out of your hair!

I can't even find my camera. Things are looking different now that I'm pregnant and all the looseness of my skin is beginning to fill in. Still want a current pic or would you rather wait till like Decemer when it has all gone back to normal? I could send myself one of those nifty future emails to remind me B)
