Those of you in snow prone areas, do ya'll havta do anythin bout the snow on your roofs? I've seen some heater deals to melt the snow off of your roof, cause of the weight er sumthin I guess they make these thins, do you Lena, er Squat, er even Jesse havta fool wit anythin like this? Raspman probly doesn't cause the lake affect snow doesn't hang round much.

But I heard of a 4 mil drug bust yeserday where the biggest evidence was the neighbours of this guy noticed that the snow on his roof "melted faster then anyone else" an they searched his house an found these drugs etc, I thought that was really weird that his snow melted faster then anyone elses.. nosey buggers!

Yeah, I've heard of those roof heaters. What a waste of electricity. :screwy: Best thing to do is to do is just put on steel roofing. Snow slides right off.

I've also heard of heaters you can install in your paved driveway. That way there's no need to shovel. Shovelling is half the fun!

We typically don't get too much PILE UP of snow cause it typically doesn't stay cold enough here in Arizona...

After a big dump...we can get 2-3 feet, but it typically only lasts a few days and is usually GONE before the next big dump...

At an old house, I had an Aluminum shed that sat under some Pines....After a big snow, the stuff falling off the trees onto the already heavy roof crushed the shed and ruined some stuff inside...

Got some insurance money for that one....

We don't do anything about the snow on our roof. It eventually melts. :dunno:

we just get a dusting of snow that last about 5 -10 minutes before the rain melts it havent had a REAL snow fall this year yet .No need for heaters here

We actually get a deent buildup but our roof is enough of a pitch that just a little sunshine will cause most of it to slide off the roof, but we get drifts that sit for weeks......
