Title: Truck strike

Monday an tuesday of this week was sposed to be a national truck strike.. it of course didn't really happen, now others are talkin bout a one day strike for this next monday. Honestly.. I would support an even participate in a strike, but a one day strike jes won't make america wake up. 3 Days though will. Grocery whse's only have stock for 3 days, after that the stores folks shop at will start runnin out of stuff, same wit gas stations, they git supplied daily to bi-daily status.

It would be really good if we could git all the trucks on the same page, but so far we're always stuck wit the same problem, we cain't git enough trucks on the same page to make a difference. But, I'm advisin all of you to make sure you have a 3 to 5 day supply of essisintails on hand. While I would want the country to wake up an notice I would also not want to be part of the cause that hurts any of you here. Obviously this isn't goin to happen in the next few weeks, but it's one of those grass roots movements that is goin to gain steam jes cause of the fuel price an freight rates. An please PLEASE don't believe this nonsense that you have to pay more because we are chargin you more because of fuel, it is flat out not the case.

I'm in Rno, stuck here since yeserday because AGIN, folks only want to pay a 1.34 per mile. You simply can not drive for that kind of money, the fuel cost is .96 cents a mile! An gits worse dependin on weight an direction, but sufice it to say, there's no direction I could go right now witout pullin nasty mountains an that jes eats the crap out of fuel.

One day it will blow up in americas face, it's that simple an then all of a sudden folks will wake up an start cryin cause they ain't got nuthin to wipe thier butts wit.

I know some of you are democrates an I've been hearin folks complainin that the fuel went through the roof when they took over the congress, this may er may not be the case I donno, but I do know they have been holdin up the drillin more wells an pumpin em an the like, that's one of the biggest problems, theres no competion in the fuel area, because we don't supply enough to make a difference, if we started doin so then it would brin the fuel prices back down. But I doubt anythin is goin to happen before elections etc.

Are there any hybrid engines for trucks on the market yet?
