We got our mailbox smashed AGAIN last night. We had been home maybe a half hour (we were at my parents all day) when our dog goes crazy barking. Abe turns on the outside light and saw a car just pulling away from the mailboxes (ours and our neighbours). They dented in the front of the box. :nono:

So you don't want to know what my hubby used to do to pass time when he was a kid... :lol:

well.. we didn't usually use a bat... once in a great while.. but.. all of us had deer rifles on our back windows in our pick ups ;)

my suggestion? git some tee posts an sink em next to your mail box, they'll git annoyed when tryin to hit the mail box cause the tee posts are in the way. Doesn't help the front of the box though.. hadn't a clue why in the world someone would smash the front of it.. that's not how you play that game anyways... I tell you these kids these days.. they jes have everthin bassackwards!

I think we'll get one of those solid steel boxes. All our neighbours' down the road got theirs bashed too. A couple were in ditches....jerks...:nono:

Landmines filled with fox piss?

When I give directions to my house, I tell folks, "We've got the only wooden mailbox post on the block." Reason why - the folks before us got smart. That post gets knocked down every couple o' years by some fool takin' the curve too fast. I ain't gonna put up a brick mailbox like everyone else has.
