Title: Headaches

Sarah - March 22, 2008 04:15 PM (GMT)
For about the last 3 weeks I have been getting headaches. I've been really paying attention to them over the last week or so and they seem to be happening at approximately the same time each day. If I take some Tylenol it gets rid of the headache and then doesn't come back until the next day. They were happening while in England as well as here in Texas so I don't think it's something in the environment. Louis wonders if it's caffeine related since I ate a lot of choclate in England. I've tried calling the birthing center to talk to a midwife but they're off for Easter and don't want to bother them unless it's an emergency which I don't think it is.

Anyone have any idea what might cause headaches at the same time every day?

Anxiety? Stress? Tension? Could be caffeine related. Drink more water to rehydrate.

Just HOW much chocolate did you eat anyway!

Good thing the Tylenol can take care of it at least.

I ate a lot at the start of the vacation - the first week. Kid in a candy store mean anything to you?

I don't know if it would be stress or not. I'm so used to stress by now that I don't know why they would start now and not a long time ago. And that doesn't really explain why they happen at the same time each day. Very weird!

All I can think of is maybe it's a Sarahism.

I got nothing else :dunno:

Sorry (But I can pray for you  )

Hydration......

I notice especially when good ol' Aunt Flo is visiting that if I don't drink extra water I'll get headaches. Maybe that'll help.....hope they get better!

What are you doing roughly 1 to 2 hours before the headaches start creeping in, if it's something you're consuming it could be anything from about 2 hours up until about 30 minutes before onset, though inhalation, and sublingual (beneath the tongue) exposure could increase absorption rate to just a few minutes.

If it's clock work it might be environmental but it might not location could be something you keep around you, or stress (technically an environmental issue as it's something outside that can be controlled to a degree).

Take a look at the routine and start changing small things up....

Take a look at what might be missing from your routine when everything started... you spent what a month over there... so it started two weeks into your vacation? Maybe it was withdrawal from Louis?

I know I started feeling even worse when I had to be away from Misty those couple days when I had my surgery.... And I could tell the dif between the pain from the surgery and me missing my wife....

I've found that women have headaches for lots of reasons. Lack o' sleep, lack o' water, lack o' caffeine...

Men only have headaches for one reason. Lack o'...
