How would you feel if your spouse did sumthin they like to do an it actually got published? Only........... as the spouse not doin the thin they loved they found out weeks later by accident that they had actually submitted the thin an found out it was goin to be published?? An the ONLY excuse given was... "I thought it was silly, so I didn't say anythin"?
It got PUBLISHED in the Texas co-op magazine!! What's silly bout that???
So... how would you feel if your spouse had made an accomplishment like that but didn't include you in it an had to find out by accident of such an achevment?

WE talking submitting a joke to the readers digest people or actually writing a full fledged article, or just a letter to teh editor?
I'd be proud as hell of any friend or family member that published anything... hell I'm proud of myself for getting 30 seconds of airtime when a radio DJ was asking for callers to supply the punch line to a news story about a 30 something year old man and a 90 something woman getting married... (by the way my 30 seconds of radio famer was "It's the first ever simultaneous case of Craddle and Grave robbing")

It would depend on the "story".
I submitted a story about life with Isaiah (on an autism site) and thinking this is SO not gonna be published and totally forgot about it until about 6 months later when I got an email saying it got accepted. Then I went wracking my brain...what did I write, anyway?! Whaddya know, it's in a book! :faint:

Eh, if he really forgot about it because he didn't think it would ever amount to anything, then I don't think I'd care. I'd be tickled to death........then I'd ask him if he got any money for it!! :D B)

It wasn't anything written but a photo I submitted. I thought no way would thay pick my photo as one to use so thought it was kinda silly to even mention it. Mine is the sunset pic.

Can you see now why I would be rather upset that I wasn't even clued in?? I mean I havta find out by accident an then by seein it in the mag?! Really annoyed actually... damned proud jes annoyed I wasn't let in on it ya know...
