It looks like McCain is going to be the Republican nominee. What are your thoughts on him?
.
.
Isn't he pro-choice?
I don't know much about him really, despite the fact that my wife's 2nd cousin is one of his staff.
When my father became gravely ill because of mistreatment in a VA Hospital...the cousin interceded on our behalf through McCain (who at the time was in charge of VA benefits in Arizona)...we got results, but my father eventually died from Parkinson's complications exacerbated by that stupid hospital in Phoenix.
Yeah, I think he's pro-choice. He's a liberal conservative. I voted for Romney. :bored:
Here is what James Dobson has to say about McCain.
| QUOTE |
| I am deeply disappointed the Republican Party seems poised to select a nominee who did not support a Constitutional amendment to protect the institution of marriage, voted for embryonic stem-cell research to kill nascent human beings, opposed tax cuts that ended the marriage penalty, has little regard for freedom of speech, organized the Gang of 14 to preserve filibusters in judicial hearings, and has a legendary temper and often uses foul and obscene language. |
McCain wrapped up the Republican nomination with his victories last night.
