Title: Accomplishments

Keneke - November 16, 2007 01:02 AM (GMT)
My 3 year old learned to ride his bike sans training wheels today. He's SUCH A TOUGH kid! He's one of those kids that'll be snowboarding during the winter :P

Anyone else care to show off your kid? If no kids...pet? :D

andiesmama - November 16, 2007 03:32 AM (GMT)

How old is she?

andiesmama - November 16, 2007 11:20 AM (GMT)
Andie's friend just lost her SECOND one...........she's only 5 1/2!

My daughter is green with envy......... :D

What's the going rate for the tooth fairy around you guys?

Honey - November 16, 2007 01:58 PM (GMT)
WOW. Luke's lost like a dozen teeth and he's only 9! :D The dentist says our boys are quite advanced in that department. Isaiah did the same thing.

Our accomplishment for today will be baking Christmas cookies. :santa:

Honey - November 17, 2007 12:14 AM (GMT)
Shortbread cookies have been made, decorated and eaten! :santa:

Candace can !! I can't even whistle, but she can!

5 - she'll be 6 at the end of January.

OS still has all his teeth. AM asked what the Tooth Fairy brings...not sure. My niece got $1.00 while some of our friends that live in TX gave their kiddo's $20 bones per tooth. They must've been some mighty big teeth!

OS can whistle also. I can't!

Keneke - November 20, 2007 04:47 PM (GMT)
YS started writing. Yesterday he wrote a few names of friends :)

OS planned out the dinners for this week, picked out the items at the store for dinner (w/ some help of course) and made/dressed the salad last night :) I helped with the rest of dinner :P

Candace sat in the dentist chair yesterday AND let the Dr. look in her mouth with the light ON. Yes, that is a major accomplishment for her!

Now we're on the waiting list to go back to the hospital to get 2 more of her teeth capped. There are no cavities. Just old fillings from a different doc who didn't do so great.

Oh no! Are they were baby teeth?

Honey - November 20, 2007 05:17 PM (GMT)
Yep, just baby teeth. We're hoping her adult teeth will come in MUCH stronger. These are just ridiculous. :wall:

If your parents have bad teeth, you most likely will have bad teeth. :(
If your teeth are weak, she'll probably have weak teeth also. Hopefully not but there's a chance :(

andiesmama - November 20, 2007 05:59 PM (GMT)
Ack! Poor baby! I'm dreading taking Andie to the dentist.........she's got a huge fear because of the whole root canal/cap thing she had to go through when she was almost 3. I can't believe she still remembers it!!

Keneke - November 20, 2007 06:21 PM (GMT)
Oh no!
We need a new thread:) Children's Dental visits...

Honey - November 25, 2007 08:10 PM (GMT)

She threw up on it to make sure I cleaned it...:nono:

Honey - November 25, 2007 10:52 PM (GMT)
Oh, I have another one! Something Isaiah's been doing the past couple months. At night time when I say "love you, sweet dreams" (as I've been doing the past 11+ years)....he FINALLY says "I muv you, mom" :yay:

Keneke - November 25, 2007 11:13 PM (GMT)
OS memorized
QUOTE
In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.  He was in the Beginning with God.  All things were made by Him and  without Him, nothing was made that was made.  In Him was life and the life was the light to men.
:string:

I'd been meaning to do some bragging here about Luke a while ago, but with so much going on recently, I forgot!

He finally got 100% on a spelling test! Whoohoo!! :booyah:

Not sure if THIS counts as an "accomplishment", but I caught Isaiah at the top of the stairs sitting inside one of my laundry hampers, ready to go for a ride....Aagh! I managed to talk him (calmly) out of it. If I act excited, he WILL do it.
