rasplundjr - November 13, 2007 02:20 PM (GMT)
Not that kind of adult version you sickos....
The Bath Time thread in Mommy and Daddy got me wondering... is there any way to get your wife to take less than a 3 hour shower...... (that kind of bath I'm cool with just not the showers... and okay it isn't actuallya 3 hour shower it's at least an hour unless we're really crunched for time)

After she's been in there long enough, turn on the hot water in the kitchen?
My kids did this to me this morning....:lena:

What can she possibly do in there for an hour?

Water's too expensive for me to take long showers :P I don't like to waste either so I go in, do my thing and get out.

We HAD a well at our prior location but still didn't use much water. I guess I hate 'wasting'...paper, water, money, etc... :P

The only time I drink well water is after it's been boiled. I never drink from the tap. Mostly, I drink bottled water.
Well water is GREAT for being able to do laundry, dishes, wash the car AND fill up the tub at the end of the day and still having plenty of water left over. B)

Guess I'm too citified...Never had a problem with not enough water.. :hide:

EW, yeah we NEVER drink straight from the tap either! We've got a separate faucet at the kitchen sink with a filter I use for coffee & tea, but for drinking water we drink bottled water.
I'm thinking of going with one of those home delivery water services, you know with the big jugs of water & the dispenser? Probably would still be more expensive than the bottled I buy.........

I love well water from tap. :)
If I could take an hour shower...I would. I won't lie. It is absolutely, positively my only escape most times and it never gets to last more than five or ten minutes.
