Title: Marriage Man
Description: It's worth a look

hope4today - October 20, 2007 02:19 AM (GMT)
Thought you guys might be interested in this video. It's one of a series my church puts out to use for marriage building. Only 6 mins.

It's worth looking at. I think you'll enjoy it. It's really for the fellas but I put it here instead of in the fellas forum 'cos I think the gals might find it useful as well.

Hope it helps

That was cute........loooove his accent! :eyebrows:

Question: Don't you guys have canned frosting over there in Aussie land? I've never seen frosting (icing....) come in a bag to mix up yourself........

That was great. I've tried to use the "shabby chic" explanation to get out of fixing things up myself. Turns out String isn't really into shabby chic, so I was chic out of luck.

Nuh-unh! I like the accent....I get so tired of boring "Amurican" speach...Something foreign can be quite exciting...

Canned frosting!! What the heck is that?

In other words 'Nope' I've never heard of canned frosting.

We use icing sugar mixed with water and a little butter if you want to make it creamier and colouring.....mind you I've never used kid water based paint for the colouring

LOL I didn't even think of the accent part of it when I posted that

Of course, he is putting on a pretty broad Aussie accent for the production but that guy does have a fairly 'Ocker' accent anyway and he's using Aussie slang in there as well.

I thought this one was pretty good too. Uses the five languages of love book but I don't think it is quite what Gary Chapman had in mind.....

Yep. Just got some today:P I prefer the regular over the whipped...

Thanks String. I have never seen a can of icing sugar like that in my life :string:

Something else I have learnt through 'Marriage Man'

Yeah, we're pretty lame.. Just open up and spread... I really don't like taht kind so much. The flavor is too sugary...I have a vegan icing recipe for when we are on our vegitarian fasts that is pretty good..I need to find a real icing/frosting recipe that is goood..Takes time and messes dishes, I know, but sometimes better taste is worth it...

Ew. The tubs of icing is gross. WAY too loaded in sugar and junk.
