My Friday morning bible study just started Knowing God Intimately. It's great. It's not a fast read. You really have to take your time and absorb what she's saying. Plus, you're constantly flipping back and forth between the book and your bible, more so than with any of her other books I think.

So far, so good. It came at a great time for me in my walk, so I'm really looking forward to reading this.

Now THAT sounds like a book I could use............

Joyce Meyers bothers me for some reason. Haven't read any of her books and can't stand watching her :dunno: Curious to see what you thought of her book.

You know, she definately takes getting used to. I think because we're from an area where harsh, to-the-point speaking is so normal, that we don't really bat an eye at it. We did another one of her books..so NOT memorable that I'd have to go look for the book to give you the title...and it bugged me the way she kept referring to herself.

It seems like she's just a book mill, tossing out books every couple of months. But this one is clearly not her. This one is clearly spirit-lead. Kind of like the way "Battlefield of the Mind" and "If Not For the Grace of God" were.
