The bible study I lead in the evenings (for women dealing with addiction in their families) starts in two weeks. We're reading Get Out of That Pit. It was awesome. Anyone read it yet?

It's so cool how I happened to get a hold of this book. I was praying about what to do for the study but still wasn't sure. Then I saw someone with this book and asked if I could read the jacket. She said, "You know what, you can have it. Someone gave it to me and I'm not really interested." Cool! Free, awesome book! God is good.

It's not as difficult to follow as most of Beth Moore's books. It's very conversational. So much so, that you can almost hear her Texas drawl. It's great.

I have it. Got to page 5 and haven't returned yet. I :quote: read :quote: three books over the summer all at the same time which turned to actually finishing one book. I do that EVERY summer and well...I'm not sure why :dunno: I guess I'll take it to HI with me...

My bible study had it's first meeting of the season last night. It was awesome! I had 10 women show up, 2 weren't registered but wanted to come to show support to their daughters. I have four more who registered but didn't show up, so I"m going to follow up with them this week. God is good!
