Title: Ipod problems

Help me fix my wife's ipod. It's been freezing up. I did all the things suggested on the apple website (the 5 R's) and nothing happened. Now it won't sync with itunes and just says that it can't sync b/c a file is missing. I deleted itunes and redownloaded it and still the same problem. I've searched online but haven't found anything that's worked! Any suggestions?

I took it in and they put a couple of songs on it and it appeared to work but at home when I put on our entire library it freezes up...
