My name is Lorry, I was invited here by my cyber-Christian sister-buddy Lynn (LynnMcG to you guys) and hope to make some new friends.

I'm currently unemployed which really means I'm home bored most of the time

I have a teenage kid which really means I'm slowly being driven out of my mind

I'm married which really means I have TWO kids who are driving me crazy

I attend a church whose members I believe are so lukewarm they are teetering on hot BUT my husband likes it there which really means I pray A LOT and am in need of prayer all of the time.

I think what bothers me the most is that he's so LAX (sp?) It takes him forever to do anything...

When we first found out we were going to be homeless (my landlord sold the building which we had just spent almost $5,000 to move into less than a year earlier!!!) we decided we didn't want to rent anymore...

Most homeowners are afraid of deadbeat tenants - we have always had deadbeat landlords.

So my husband wanted to house hunt... I was like NO WAY!!!!! It takes you three days to pick up your dirty socks off the floor you are going to rake leaves?? I am not moving into a house so that within the year it's a broken down shack... So I wanted to move into a Condo or Co-Op, where the maintenace would be someone elses responsibility.

We were new believers and prayed about it... The Lord brought us to a house in New Jersey where I have (so far) put up with:

Four shelves took SIX MONTHS to go up on the wall

For NINE months Gutters were not cleaned until AFTER a huge downpour killed all my flowers

It took FOUR days (NOT kidding) to paint a ceiling

and the best one: I quit my job after he promised to refinance so I could afford to stay home and he still hasn't done it...we are broke, rates went up and guess whose looking for another job?

and that's just ONE thing...there are more. :wall:
