Candace was a flower girl once...I ended up walking both her and the ring bearer down the aisle...

A friend at church. I don't know the bride-to-be too well but I know the groom very well. He was my DH's best man. I'm excited. We're going tonight to get them fitted for their Tuxedo's :faint: and then the training begins...LOL

Rachel got asked to be a flower girl at a wedding last year and she totally freaked out once it was time to do it and broke down crying.
Whoever was coordinating it wasn't aware of how sensitive she is, so when she told her to trade bouquets with another girl, it was ALL over.

She's too cute.
ODS saw an episode on Caillou about being a ring bearer and so he's excited.
We went last night to 'rent' the tux...$152.00 for a CHILD!!!!!!! He has to pay same price as the adults. The lady worked with us and got it down to $120.00 I hope the bride and groom realize that's their gift :haha:
Yep Deb...you and Andrea were in it here in CA in Napa Valley...Wine country :P

Your son gets asked to be in someone's wedding and YOU have to pay for it???

Apparently that's how it is now. My DH paid for the tuxedo's for our wedding. I bought the flower girl dresses etc. All the groomsman are paying for their own... :dunno:

If that's the way things are I doubt our kids would be in any weddings because we'd be priced out of them!

Yeah, that's how it was for us too, when Candace was flower girl. WE had to pay for her dress! :screwy: After that, when she was asked again, (hubby's other sister) we said no way.

I have to admit that a flower girl would be easier than the ring bearer. At least she can re-wear the dress (Easter/Christmas/other weddings/events). I'm RENTING the tux so it's going back to the store after the event.
They sell Tuxedo's but they only go up to a 3T. ODS is a 6...I don't think it'll work...LOL
