Definitely this one. If he's such a neat freak...he'd have more energy to keep up the "neat freak" title.
Lazy housewife? What's she got to hide? :P She's lazy...she's just showing it...hehe
Redguard - July 31, 2007 08:19 PM (GMT)
Lena, your meez looks like she's having a seizure.
andiesmama - July 31, 2007 08:49 PM (GMT)
Yep, I'd say the neat-freak husband......if he's so lazy, then he shouldn't be such a neat-freak......
.....Squat.

If he's too lazy too clean up then he's not a neat freak he's just a liar and mean at that for giving his wife a hard time about it.
If he was really a neat freak and it meant that much to him he'd get up and do something about it or get a cleaner
BUT don't pick on the wife for not meeting a standard he can't be bothered with himself!!
Better not get me started on THIS one :nono:

Yah.. I think the sloppy house wife is worse mysef. Spose the neat-freak hubby isn't round? Spose he works 16 hours a day er sumthina n always comes home to a sloppy house. Should he stay up durin the time he needs to sleep in order to pick up after the wife who may er may not be home all day watchin er soaps? Yah... sloppy housewife is so much more worse then a neat freak who 'cain't' clean up.

Firstly, the scenario was not a neat freak who can't clean up but a neat freak who is too lazy to clean up ...BIG difference
Secondly, if he's working 16hours per day, how does the house really affect him? He's not around to live it.
:hammer:

Oh hum....
sloppy housewifes.... I might oughta start a support group for all the poor abused men how's bout it.
Isn't lazy a uh.. subjective term? My defintion of lazy may er may not be the same as someone else's yes?
Still by far.. I mean c'mon.. if you have a sloppy house wife, no doubt she is so sloppy she doesn't fix up er hair er clean ersef up etc either. surely a neat-freak who IS to lazy to pick up isn't THAT bad?!

and sloppy is also a subjective term. Your definition of sloppy may be different to mine...
And you have just very conveniently put the 'sloppy' definition at the far end of mess including personal hygiene and the 'lazy' definition at the other end that isn't THAT bad..... talk about fudging the figures to suit your argument!!
:grrrrrr:

Becareful now my dear Hope.... if'n your not awful careful your goin to start throwin big words round an I'll havta git Sarah to translate for me! An I do NOT wanna do that, cause I am soooo mad at er.... an she don't even know it yet hehehehe in case she see's this before I make a stink wit er bout it. NC, mm 75, shoppin mall parkin lot, lil hole in the wall place there round Dunn? Time on my hands as well an they had truck parkin! I thought bout it as I drove right by the 75 yeserday.. thanks dear......
Sloppy btw.. is NOT subjective. If thins are a mess then they are a mess right? You cain't have a mess an say it's clean can you? But wit lazy... I don't think it applies, lazy isn't subjective cause you could be workin your butt off but folks call you lazy anyways. If your sloppy, well that's a no brainer, thins are messy everwhere right?
btw.. why did sqaut start this? Is he lazy an his wife sloppy? Does that mean their kids are lazy slobs?

:umno: sloppy is a VERY subjective term.
I had a whole bunch typed but deleted it, this has been a bit ouchy for me because of history with my ex, so I best leave it alone because I'm getting het up. (and btw I keep a reasonable house most of the time)
:sigh:
andiesmama - August 1, 2007 02:01 PM (GMT)
I tell you what, my house is "comfortably lived in"......it's clean for the most part, but at any given time there will be dishes in the sink, our bed probably won't be made, and there will be toys laying around in various rooms....
I'm not a neat freak in any way but I also don't let things get way out of hand....middle-of-the road, I guess.
squatpuke - August 1, 2007 07:02 PM (GMT)

Ok...but what if the husband cleans up after himself? Is he still considered lazy then?
Is he only lazy if he doesn't clean up after the sloppy wife and/or kids?
Discuss...
(hope...."lighten up Francis")
Honey - August 1, 2007 07:36 PM (GMT)
Know what? I don't think there's anything to discuss here.
MY rule....YOU make the mess....YOU clean it up. YOU live here, YOU pull your share.
So far, it's worked pretty good. I don't think it's good to accuse the other of being lazy just because things might not be the way YOU want.
If YOU have certain standards that aren't met...get off your lazy ass and meet them yourself.
MAN, I'm on a roll today, baby! :booyah:

What are YOU TALKING about munchkin girl?
I never ONCE mentioned anything about myself...just trying to discuss a few things.
Why you got to get all personal and stuff????....Sheesh.
Honey - August 1, 2007 07:55 PM (GMT)
Because you LOVE personal! That's why you started a thread like this! :gotcha: You knew you were gonna hit nerves! :P
I'm just saying that if you're gonna call yourself (in general here) a neat freak, make sure you live up to it. "Neat freaks" IMO, have pretty high standards, expectations...blah, blah, blah...
I wouldn't say I'm a neat freak. But I'm not real sloppy, either. In the middle lane, like Deb said.
If a husband cleans up after himself, fine. I don't think that's being lazy.
I want a definition of "sloppy housewife". From a MAN'S POV.

Here's my opinion.......
If somebody doesn't like the way the house is, then get up and do some cleaning yourself!!
If you don't want to clean/pick up/whatever, then IMO you don't have room to complain.
:thanks:

Slobby husband....neat freak wife...
Again...I bet anything related would be the husband's fault.
You drama-queens are all the same....sheesh.

Seriously, yes it did push my buttons yesterday. I was actually mistreated in this area, along with many others and for some reason yesterday it got to me. I'm seriously tired 'cos my sleeping patterns are out of whack so the sensitivity volume is turned right up.
Sorry guys.... hope you still love me???
I know you do... I think :hide:

My house is the way it is an if ya don't like it do the cleaning/tiding upself, :naughty: just don't throw anything out, unless it is the rubbish, without checking wit me first.
If your are here to visit me and have :coffee: then don't complain about the house 'cos ur here too see me and I'm personally not untidy or dirty.
My hubby is the clean freak so he will vaccum, wash floors and do :laundry: he will also move furniture and I will fill the dish washer and wash the baby bottles.
So my take on that would be too work together and everything will be just peachy inside the house. and there will be alot less arguements ......

I look after the kids and get up early to get them ready for school and kinder while he sleeps in until lunch time .... :cheeky: the only time he looks after them is when I go shopping but I take the baby and I have an appointment where i can't have the kids with me or I need time out as they r driving me nutty.
Not only that he is not working at the mo and when he does it is from home as he fixes computers and sells them to wat ppl want, he and his lil brother are in that together.
So why can't he help out he makes the mess he can help clean it up and he helped me have kids so he can help there too.
All is fair in love and war ........ lol
