Title: Books on Tape/CD?

Keneke - July 31, 2007 05:09 PM (GMT)
So I buckled and got the kiddo's a Bible on CD for their room. They listen to one CD prior to going to sleep. I figured if they're going to fool around before going to sleep they might as well learn something. So I got the Kids Adventure Bible on CD. They have learned about creation, Esau and Jacob and the 10 plagues of Egypt. My ODS just asked if he could listen about Locust while playing in his room
Anyone else use books on tape/CD's?

We don't have any for the kids but Louis listens to audio books in the truck. Mostly Star Trek stuff.

I don't have the Bible on CD for Andrea, but when we drove to KY this past spring, I bought Cinderella, Little Mermaid, and Little Bear stories on CD.

She loves them, the Bible is a great idea!!

Not necessarily for the kids but I used to listen to sermons while commuting every day. marshillchurch.org (I think that's the website) has some of the best sermons I've ever heard! Check them out!

We have a few read-a-longs and sing-a-longs. We have the New Testament on cassettes. The Completel Holy Bible KJV on mp3 Library.
