Title: This REALLY ticks off my wife....
squatpuke - July 28, 2007 07:42 PM (GMT)
.
.
Grabbin' butter outta the container with my fork....
hehe....
Honey - July 28, 2007 07:58 PM (GMT)
What was wrong with your fingers?
:tease:
andiesmama - July 29, 2007 01:14 PM (GMT)
So you do it MORE because you know it ticks her off, right?
And why do you need to get butter with a fork?
squatpuke - July 29, 2007 02:12 PM (GMT)
.
.
I don't REALLY do it on purpose....
I just don't see the need to get off my rear, walk over to the knives, then WALK BACK to my meal...when I already have a fork than easily scoop up some spread.
It doesn't gross her out or anything...I think she just doesn't want OTHER PEEPS to see fork marks in the butter....
So if you were at someone's house and saw fork marks in the butter, would you still dip in there?

I probably wouldn't dip in because I would think that a fork is more likely to have been in someone's mouth than a knife. Why don't you just solve the problem by getting out a butter knife before you sit down to dinner that way you don't need to get up during the meal?

Who sets the table at your place, anyway? We always have forks & knives no matter what. Habit.
When I found out my sister lets her boys eat straight from the peanut butter jar with spoons....made me think twice about eating their peanut butter! Especially with them always being sick with one thing or another....

Or, you could do like us and dip the roll, corn, english muffin, etc. right into the butter...
