Title: Digestion

I just had breakfast not quite an hour ago and already my stomach is growling and I feel hungry. How long does it take for food to digest?
I've also been feeling lightheaded, some nausea and low (not no, just low) energy. I know I need to get my vitamins again....TONIGHT, I hope. I know I have low iron. My dr kept rubbing it in my face whenever I was pregnant. :doh:
What's weird is my period was like TWO days. That's it! 1 day heavy flow, next day it lightened up alot and today...nada. You may think "that must be nice!" But man, I feel like crap. :puke: :nono:

I've heard that it takes about 12 hours for food to get fully digested...But that would be different for everyone I suppose...

Hello - I'm new here.
I don't know how long it takes to fully digest food, but certain foods are broken down faster than others, leaving us hungry sooner (such as pastas), where other foods take longer to break down (proteins) and leave us feeling full longer.
