Title: A new dilema for me...

Addicted2~Jesus - July 7, 2007 07:30 PM (GMT)
I have been wresttlin for the past few weeks wit how much I can trust my wife, trust er word, believe what she says etc, now this does not mean I don't love er er anythin like that, an it's not a complete loss of trust either... I'm not explainin this well am I?

The jes of it, I took this an that back on to my loaded plate to do thins here a few weeks back, an I don't know that when she says, "Well I'ma goin to do this...." that I can believe that that would actually git done. Does that make sense? I'm not bein mean, er complainin bout Sarah er anythin, that's not what this is bout.

She told me earlier today she wanted me to give er Monday afternoon in town jes the two of us, cause she has a surprise... well I don't like surprises like that in the first place, an it is NOT sexual... so that rules out any enjoyment for me. But she's effectly askin me to place the trust that is current in jepordy into er hands agin for whatever it is on Monday afternoon.

I kinda love the way thins work out in this life, bout the time I'm really strugglin wit sumthin is when that sumthin compounds itssef everwhere ya know?

I think she's askin a lot of me in a weakend state. An of course, curiosity will end up gittin the better of me an I'll do it, but I cain't help the naggin thin in my mind that says your walkin right back into a let down agin.

andiesmama - July 7, 2007 07:40 PM (GMT)
Go for it........how do you know it's not sex, anyhow??? :eyebrows:

Honey - July 7, 2007 07:46 PM (GMT)
I'd love it if hubby took me out for a surprise! That never happens with us.

You're gonna have to learn to trust your wife at one point...start with the surprise she has for you on Monday! Geez.....with the distance between the two of you while you're in the truck....I'm surprised at you when say you're not sure whether to trust her...Of course you do! :smack:

Addicted2~Jesus - July 7, 2007 09:38 PM (GMT)
It's jes not as simple as that, while I do trust er in some thins, unfortuneately there are other thins that I no longer trust that she'll do er live up to er the like. I know trust in marriage should be an all er nuthin, but it's been fractured between us, to many times of thins like "I will do such an such" then it never happens an what's worse it stings me badly cause it some how directly screws me over in sumthin. So my trust has been fractured, an in my opinion she's askin me to put jes a whole lot of trust an faith in er right now even for sumthin as small as this, so I am a lil leary an a bit worried.

An Deb... it's not sex, I done'd drilled er on that, she will say maybe I can git some after whatever it is though LOL

Honey - July 7, 2007 11:54 PM (GMT)
So with a surprise like this....you're nervous because you're not trusting her with the surprise? And as you say...something as SMALL as this??

Darlin' you need ta lighten UP! Plus you really should work on trusting and putting a litte more faith into her. You probably don't wanna hear that, but oh well...:P

Addicted2~Jesus - July 9, 2007 11:56 AM (GMT)
It'a physical, yet not sexual, it'll cost me bout 20 bucks, I've never done it, it's "in a buildin" though no idea how big a buildin, it's on a side of a own I know well enough to know there's nuthin over there, it's also possible it exists twice in this valley on either end of it. Cain't be done wit the kids, an I'm jes sposed to go do whatever it is? Oh.. an I need to be feelin good enough for it... was a lil sick on Sat an Sun.

These sort of thins often make me feel uncomfortable, it's havin to leave all control, hand everthin over AND she was talkin bout er drivin where ever it is... well that's out, I don't wanna say Sarah's a bad driver by any means... I mean, she can git the car from A to B, it's jes how she gits from here to there is the question... she loves to say, but I've never had a wreck, where as I've had 20, she's never gotten a ticket where as I've had 75, but it's truly apples an oranges, an those weren't even my fault, the wrecks that is... most the tickets are stupid to, but ya know....

andiesmama - July 9, 2007 12:02 PM (GMT)
Hey, if YOU don't wanna go, then I will!! :P

Sounds fun and I think you should just try to leave your "2nd thoughts" at the wayside and just go for it.....

Addicted2~Jesus - July 10, 2007 03:17 AM (GMT)
Well... it was a very nice thought... I can understand why she did what she did, I don't support it, but I see the intentions behind it. So she gits points for that.

I asked er, wether there was the potential to git injured, she down played it, she also told me it's sumthin I hadn't done before, only bout 3 years ago I tried to git er to do it wit me, but we made an agreement that we wouldn't until we had some form of insurance. Cause... it's PRONE to injury, not jes an off chance, an the last time I did that, I must been like 12 er 13, sumthin like that, an I certainly cain't afford the type of injury it could have inflicted. So no, we didn't end up doin it, after sittin in the parkin lot talkin bout it, it would have been rather dangerous for me at the moment, an I have to many responsibilites to git injured in doin that.

Soon as we do git some insurance though, I'll be johnny on the spot :)

Roller skating was one of the first dates me and hubby had. We were just talking a short while ago about doing it again!

Addicted2~Jesus - July 11, 2007 08:20 PM (GMT)
I tried to git er to do it wit me bout three years ago, but she made the point to me that we couldn't afford any injuries, an I agreed, if we had to pay for repair my goodness! so it's best not to, but I used to love roller skatein, jes hadn't done it in like 20 years lol. I have a disk in my back that is on the verge of blowin out, requirin yet another fuse operation, an I'm like "no thank you" so I havta be a bit careful an roller skatein is very bad news for a fellers back.

Honey - July 11, 2007 08:50 PM (GMT)
Just tie a whole bunch of pillows onto ya...that oughta work...
