This mornin I was thinkin bout some stuff I got Kat, an had this irie thought. I started wonderin wether er not the stuff I got er would be enough to git er to leave me alone when ever I did git in. I know horrible thoughts. But made me think, maybe I should start doin that, gittin er sumthin each time I'm out so I can give it to er soon as I go in that way she'll be caught up wit that an won't hang on me the whole time.

Most of the time when I git in all I wanna do is sit down, nice an quite, but as a parent I also realize that's not even an option, an it's by choice we have children an the like, but I got er this princess colorin book a month ago, it's layin on my top bunk up there an I can only imagine what the officer that inspected the inside of my truck here a few weeks ago must have thought, single guy in a truck wit a princess colorin book... he never said nuthin but I thought bout it after I got back in my truck hehe. I figured if I gave it to er straight away then she'd wanna run off an color the thin right away. Think that's a bad idea? I think I'd feel like I sorta let er down by given er sumthin to distract er for a few minutes. I certainly didn't buy it for er jes for that reason, I only thought bout it this mornin... I wonder how that's goin to work out.

I think as long as you do make an effort to give her one on one attention and have sarah explain to her before hand that you need some time alone to relax for a bit that things should be okay, .....of course what do I know?

That's not bad at all~Ty gets hugs & kisses when he comes home, then Andrea knows he needs some "relaxing" time alone, he changes clothes, then heads out onto the lanai to smoke :crazy: :sick: and watch tv, read the paper, and have something to drink.

About half an hour or so, then he plays with Andie while I get us dinner, she takes her shower or bath while we eat, then they play again for about a half hour before she goes to bed.

As long as you make an effort to spend some REAL quality time with Kat, I think it's okay for you to have some private downtime when you first get home.

I think it's neat about the coloring book. My kids are always giving me stuff to hang in my office - and since the only office I can hang stuff in is at the house, they get to see it all the time.

I look forward to the day I can take stuff to a 'job' and hang it up...
