Heartbeat is about 150 BPM She showed me the video and picture they took....

She has to talk to her Neuologist because her epilepsy meds (which she doesnt' take) can cause somoe facial defects in the baby....


She's got to go to South Bend for more tests.....

Yea..... I think I have to take her to South Bend not sure.....

Oh and apparently she's changed her mind on the name front......

If it's a Girl she wanted Aurora Marie...

I hate the name Aurora... too easy to make fun of.. but I'll let her keep it as a middle name... Marie is plain out ... everything I look at as far as names says it means sea of bitterness.... Seeing if she'll go for Caitlan Aurora or Branna Aurora....

Apparently she wants to name it Ezra if it's a boy... I have no prob, I'd love to have a son nnamed Ezra... eventually... number 1 son will be Richard David III

If she insists on this Aurora Nonsense I'll have to make sure they drug her up duringht ebirthing process so she's asleep when I name the Baby.... if she keeps insisting on Aurora for the first name she'll be called Herman.....

Aw, I was thinking about you guys, I THOUGHT I remembered Tuesday was her appointment!

I like Aurora okay, more for a middle name tho, like you said......it makes me think of Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)..... :P

So for the ones you named, I think Caitlan Aurora goes together better than Branna Aurora (too many "A's" or something)......

Aurora means light, more specifically dawn and even more specifically was the Roman Goddess of Dawn.

On the meaning of Marie (or Maree) I looked into when I wanted Maree for my eldest's middle name. It rolled off the tongue and I liked it.

You are correct, it originally came from Mara meaning bitter (the mother-in-law of Ruth refers to it in the OT). Over the years it changed to bitterly wanted child and then eventually to eagerly awaited child. As we had been trying for a few years to have her it seemed very appropriate and that sealed the deal on having Maree for her middle name. We desperately wanted her and her arrival was a gratefully received answer to prayer.

Glad things are going okay.

Peppermint helped my nausea.....even when I couldn't THINK of eating anything, if I could just smell some peppermint oil (I kept it on hand) it would help. Once I was so desperate, I sniffed the peppermint mouthwash we had in the bathroom. :hide:

Due date is allegedly 1-22-08 or about there... might be 1-24-08.....

Hehe well, a due date is just an estimate. I would take the later date if I were you to try to stop you from getting impatient near the end. Kat was due 1.23 but came 1.28. Glad everything is going well!

Wow 2 months since i last posted????? well in this thread....

Misty was doing well there for a while she's starting to get bad headaches and pukey again.....

I guess the baby is gonna be an amazon she was at teh Doc's a couple weeks ago and the Doc's eyes got huge as she was feeling Misty's abdomen Misty started to freak the Doc just smiled and said nothing was wrong it's just the baby grew more than she expected it to. Misty is still losing weight but this hasn't seemed to put any adverse effect on the baby.....

Misty is still kinda freaked when I told her my birth weight and length was 9 lbs. 11 oz. and 21 inches.... apparently Z and Brit were MUCH smaller babies.....

She's not as pukey as she was inthe beginning but she's not as good as she was a few weeks ago......

Liam was 9lbs 12oz and 21.75in, no meds, piece of cake :lol: Well, not exactly a piece of cake, it hurt a lot but it's doable :) Tell her not to freak out anyways. The size of the baby has more to do with her than it does you.

I loved being pregnant and it wasn't miserable for me :) :hug: to Misty and you! Enjoy the moment...

I can eat about a piece of pepermint candy every three days before I start getting nauseated by it
I just don't like peppermint which is why we get the funky fruit flavored canes

Baby might be coming soon... Misty's doc said she's dilated to 4 CM and they're gonna keep her to see if she dialtesd anymore if she does they're keeping her if not then they're sending her home

She sounded fine on the phone... I'm 3 hours away in Chicago.. if she calls me to tell me they're keeping her I'm on the next train out (which is the next train after she called the first time)

WOW! 4 cm already!! That's exciting! You know the time is right when she stops smiling and stops sounding so "fine". That's how they monitored me...when I gave them "the look" after asking how I was feeling, the got things ready and sent for the doc....:D
