I wish I had a live in assistant! Soemone to help me witht the housework, the kids, the homeschooling, etc... Wouldn't that be nice?

I could get that if I wanted....you need a special needs kid, tho. :P Of course, it's government funded. I wouldn't want a "live-in"...I'd just be super paranoid then. :blink: I have a friend who has an assistant is THIS close to canning her.

Uh, yeah! Really what I would actually like is not a live in assistant but just for someone to watch the kids an hour a day and have no interruptions so I could really get something done. Oh, and not at night after the kids are in bed because by that time I'm too tired to want to do anything.

I agree....but I'd want somebody to take Andie OUT of the house because I know that even if I had someone come in to give me an hour or so "by myself" it would still end up being interrupted time.

Yeah, better if the kids are gone because if the kids are around then someone always wants or needs something every 5 mins. And I wonder why it takes me twice as long as it should to do things...

I soooo know what you mean. That is one of the major downfalls of homeschooling....absolutely no "me" time.....better for them, not so much for me...

Hmm, all this talk of respite....I've got 3 ladies lined up to come take Isaiah or even all 3 kids for a couple hours. Just gotta do the talking, paper work, then hiring......thanks for the reminder, String! :bounce: :P
