A lot of us have daughters that are young.

How would you react if she grows up (say she's twenty now) and she calls you says that she is now working as a Hooters waitress or that she is a member of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders or something like that?

[I'm not talking about a strip club or being in the porn business.]

My cousin worked for 4 years (during college) as a Hooter's waitress. Great money and it helped pay her way through college. She's done with college now and done with waitressing. So if Andie wanted to do it in THAT context I honestly wouldn't have a problem with it. I'd do my best to sway her to a different chain but ultimately it would be her decision. Wouldn't want her to make a career out of it, tho.

Her body her choice.... Of course I'd be hanging around the establishment dragging punks behind the building and beating the hell out them if they get too friendly.....

My wife would prolly freak.... she's so anti Hooters it's not funny... She let's me get the food as long as I'm not the one going to pick it up, and there is no way in hell I'll ever be able to eat their again....

Being raised as she is, I doubt very much that my daughter would have made a choice like that. I worked to pay my way through college and never had to wear revealing clothes to make cash.

I'd be sad that she chose to use sexuality to get money. doing such things has spiritual repercussions, even though we cannot feel them or see the effects..
