Title: Avatar/photo?

I tried to put a photo up under my name. Is that avatar or photo?
Anyway I tried both. Photo said I wasn't allowed to do it.
And when I tried avatar it said something about not being able to use it. I think the file might be too big but I don't know how to change it. I see some of you have photos up there so figure there must be a way to do it.
Can anyone help?
P.S. This is the error message I get when I try to update the avatar with the photo

I uploaded mine from Photobucket and copy and pasted the url.

The easy thing to do is to open a photobucket account if you don't have one, and there you can resize the picture to "avatar" size and paste the URL to upload it here...

Ok but first things first what is a photobucket account :doh: and how do I get one? :dunno:
I'll see if my picasa software can do what you are suggesting and if not I'll try to find this photobucket...

Thanks String :wave: this gave me the starter to check my picasa files and see if I could change the size of the photo. And it worked.
It's not such a clear photo when it's reduced but at least I know how to do it now.
