I'm reading a book "A Love Life for Every Married Couple" and it talks about "making your wife fall in love with you again periodically throughout your marriage.

Here's my challenge- This week you are to do something outside of what you would normally do to woo your wife. For you bums out there who never buy them flowers you get off light in doing something simple. Those of us that do stuff like that regularly have to do something extra special to make her remember why she married us in the first place. Post what your plan is and then after you do it post how it worked out!

I challenge you!

My plan is simple - yet difficult.

A year ago, I made a pledge to my wife - a pledge that I posted here - to do all in my power to acquire a "servant heart" in our marriage. That is still my plan.

While I have improved somewhat, I have also failed in many aspects. The "Servant Heart" is an humble heart, but not a 'doormat' heart. It seeks to serve in all aspects of the relationship, even if serving is explicitly not doing exactly what the other feels needs to be done. It means never getting angry and 100% forgiveness.

I'm still a selfish bastard. I need to stop that. I've hurt her heart and cannot do anything to make it right. She says she's forgiven me but can never trust me again.

Don't lie to your wife. Even ten years ago. It'll catch up to you and stab you in the heart.
