Title: Duh!

Are Bratz dolls too sexy?Does anyone actually pay attention to what their kids play with anymore?!

I've seen the dolls in the stores. They're quite slutty looking, really. I used to collect Barbie(wehne I was single and had money) And I have noticed that some of the newer Barbies have evolved to compete with Bratz. Their eyes are bigger adn moe slanted the way the Bratz eyes are...Its disgusting...

In Candace's words: Those dolls look ugly!
She can thank her mama to teach her that. :thanks:

Sarah thinks they look ugly too.
She has Barbie My Scene dolls, these are the ones String is talking about. But you're right, some of them are so slutty looking. I called Mattell when their "Bling" My Scene Dolls came out. I told them they sold out. I told them that most of the parents I know won't buy Bratz, because they're trashy and that Mattell joined that bandwagon (for $$$) with the Bling dolls. They CS person I spoke too agreed with me!

Yep, no Bratz in our house either.
Andie thought she wanted them when she FIRST saw them, until I explained to her first of all what the word "brat" meant... ...then told her that the dolls didn't wear clothes that we liked in our house, etc, etc.
Now whenever she sees a commercial for them or sees them in the store, she announces "We HATE Bratz in our house!!"
Brainwashing at its finest.....

We have one, it came with a horse. The cowgirl Brat has cowgirl boots, but unlike Barbie shoes that are on little feet, these boots dislocate at the ankle!

I just can't get passed the lips. I was telling my husband about a bridal makeover I did where this young bridesmaid had the best, super-ful lips...and she hated them. My husband said "did you tell her how awesome full lips are? Did you tell her what men think about when they look at full lips?" I smacked him.
I don't need my daughter to have sexy-lipped dolls!!

Both grandparents gave them to my girls for Christmas. I don't like 'em, but my wife doesn't have a problem with them.
Good thing for me, they've been getting lost. No, I'm not doing it! :naughty: I think God's watching out for me and my family.
Yes, I've notified the grandparents that I don't like the dolls. They think I'm a fuddy-duddy.

Nope. Not yet anyway. They like vehicles...that's it.

Myoldest doesn't like cars..He's into mechanical movment things, but not cars. Fortunately we had quite the collection when boy #2 came and he took to the cars like a duck to water.
