Don't vaccinate. Your kid will turn out autistic. Or at least that's MY experience. B) The rest of you can :kissass:

When did you start noticing signs in Isaiah? Just curious as to whether there's a "safe" threshold age, if that makes sense.....

Not that it matters, since Andie's vax schedule is nearly complete.... B)

Commence discussion, I just split these posts from the original thread so it wouldn't stray TOO far off course...... B) :thanks: :belly:

IMO, there is no "safe" threshold. I've heard of older kids developing other mental handicaps later in their years, too.

With Isaiah, it was around age 3 that we noticed some "delays". Well, he'll outgrow it everyone kept saying. And we kept saying that to ourselves, too. He turned 4, not much gain and very little speech. Speech was the biggest issue. Let's fast forward to him being 11 now and still limited speech and mental delays. Physically, he's growing normally (I think he'll be on the short side).

That good 'nuff for ya?

A little off topic but I watched a news program on Autism and they are now finding a new form of autism in children the age of 5.

We VaX in all kiddo's. Most my family doesn't VAX.

Of course. They'll use ANYTHING as a :quote: legitimate excuse :quote: other than the vaccines. :soapbox: IMO, it's a pile of :poop:

Been there, done that, not doing it again. End of story. Does it tick me off?

Absolutely.

I'm outta here before I go on a rant. :nono:

Maybe I have my terms confused.

Are we distinguishing vaccinations from immunizations?

We don't do the flu shot thing, but I thought immunizations were mandatory.

You can get exemptions for immunizations if you choose to....depends on where you live, tho....

:offtopic: I see the title of this thread--Vax Thread--and i think more along the lines of "Eeets time to vax your legs!" :rolf:

Honey - April 25, 2007 02:37 PM (GMT)
Time to VAX the car!

And Red, vaccinations are not necessarily "mandatory". It's totally up to the parents whether they want to. Like Deb said, you can be exempted from it. Just go to the health unit. They'll give you a paper that needs to be signed by a clergy. That's it. You're all set!

As for the chickenpox vaccination...don't waste your time. My sil told me that her own dr told her that it's not even worth it. All that shot does is delay the pox. It's best to just let the body deal with it naturally.

I saw the title "Vax Thread" and was fixin' to move it to the ancient computers forum.

I'm sure if squat was here there would have been a DEBATE.

Personally all my kids have been immunised and I think it's important. Epidemics such as measles and polio are devestating to whole generations. However I don't feel the need to debate it and besides................

I don't like frypans on my head.

I've debated this so many time "over yonder" that I'm just done with the debates. Besides, it's really my husband that is driving the decisions.
